Option on sold listings to ‘send payment details’ has disappeared and I’m unable to send people invoices for combined orders like I normally do. I did a live chat with customer service, but I don’t really think they knew what I was talking about.
I have buyers waiting to pay, but are reluctant to pay for the entire postage cost in one go and have me refund due to the amount of money they would have in limbo.
anybody else having the same problem? Anyone at eBay able to confirm it’s being looked into so I can tell my buyers?

Considering the date of the first post on this thread is 21st February it's definitely closer to 3.

A buyer who lives in Serbia has won 5 CDs from me. He has messaged me to say he is unable to request a total. Also I am unable to send him an invoice. Nice one Ebay 👍

I contacted eBay customer service on Sunday. The advisor told me I was not the only person who had this issue. She told me she was "raising a ticket" which would be looked at on Monday. It is now Wednesday and the problem is still there.

I recycle old duvets and pillow wash them and use the stuffing obviously only if it's clean great for packing breakables. Have taken my listings off here not bothering trying work arounds because in the new rules 17th March they will punish us for that. Am listing somewhere else now all listings removed into unsold not yet deleted but i see no hope that this will improve, it will only get worse as they bring out more "exciting" stuff over the year

I know collectible dealers are generally more trusted , but a buyer to fork out ,as you say, £50 or £60 extra hoping for a refund, well im not sure id be keen on splashing that out .

Hi @adlinkpen
I have never charged for any packaging materials even if an item sells for just 99p plus post at flat rate cost - the buyer has a bargain. I considered this part of a good service for my buyers, and as some items sold for a higher price than originally thought , I think it balances it out when purchasing packaging materials to post.
I recycle boxes, made up boxes from larger cardboard with strong packing tape, have had to purchase new boxes for certain items though. For fragile items I have used goat wool ( clean and washed ) which was free ( or you could use old jumpers/material or duvets as long as clean and washed) Usually cut them up and super for delicate items as an extra protection...I usually save nice boxes from gifts such as candle boxes as these can be quite strong and are super for small items; of course tissue paper, bubble wrap and packing peanuts cost more, and used those frequently, but really I feel it is part and parcel of selling. You could also perhaps salvage packing materials from anything you have bought from another seller or other items purchased...such as shoe boxes. I know some add to their post costs which now with SD isn't an option, some may choose to incorporate in their prices when listing, but as a private seller I have never felt the costs of packaging an issue as genuinely happy that someone had chosen to purchase from me.
Edit.. spelling.

There are a number of listings whereby the postage costs are extortionate and the BIN at a lower price, in the listing description the sellers states the price is actually more than the BIN if collecting, and it is to "minimise the BPF" ... so assume this is their " workaround" but seems off to me?
