Option to send invoices disappeared

Option on sold listings to ‘send payment details’ has disappeared and I’m unable to send people invoices for combined orders like I normally do. I did a live chat with customer service, but I don’t really think they knew what I was talking about.

I have buyers waiting to pay, but are reluctant to pay for the entire postage cost in one go and have me refund due to the amount of money they would have in limbo. 

anybody else having the same problem? Anyone at eBay able to confirm it’s being looked into so I can tell my buyers?

I also have this issue and have a customer waiting for an invoice with combined postage.

Think you have to accept this is not going to happen soon.   I often sell several low cost items to one buyers and so far my buyers have paid then I refund the excess postage.    The buyers fee is over doubling some of the things I sell and I think sales have dropped off.    Really hope this can be sorted by EBay as the buyers fee is over charging them.    Some customer do still want an invoice too.

Also, beside Trading Standards surely this is a backward step for their sustainability targets - if they don't allow combined postage you are forcing sellers to use more packaging which means cutting down more trees - you are also making more work for the delivery companies.

It is still not fixed on the 7th March where is the option - you are actually disadvantaging buyers who are not getting the promised single fee - they could go to Trading Standards -  when will it be fixed ?

Been a few days and still can`t send invoice(s).
VERY POOR SHOW by eBay....You take our money, but don`t back up the service when it`s not working correct......

I have a few buyers waiting for the invoices with postage discount...
Please advise.

Not compatible with simple delivery where every item will be treated separately for postage and the 75p. Ebay have said within the simple delivery info that there may be special offers like combined postage for the buyer from time to time

Well thats something like hedging  their bets - or having the string play out longer for the sellers in despair.

Expect the worst, anything else is a bonus.

Once my current auctions have ended sadly I will be leaving eBay after over
20 years of selling small items. With the new buyer protection fees and no
option for combined postage it no longer makes any sense to continue.

I think everyone that has been connected or read this thread should contact eBay CS and make a complaint, they would maybe realize how many sellers feel affected.

I've just had the same problem. The buyer has opted to pay the full amount. I will have to send the items separately or else the tracking won't work properly, and I'll keep getting reminders from Ebay to send the remaining item. I hope they sort it out soon!
