Not so simple delivery

What could be more simple than writing a name and address on the front of a parcel then taking it to the Post Office for sending ?

Exactly right !!! - Plus the Post Office staff are paid professionals who have all the tools available to do the job properly, and Ebay has accepted that system from the very day Ebay was created by Pierre Omidyar, a French-born Iranian-American computer programmer, who founded eBay (originally named AuctionWeb) on September 3, 1995. So, for almost 30 years - and now in 2025 it's all ending 😩

Calling the mandatory system :- 'Simple Delivery' is really an insult within it's own wording, as it's in no way simpler than just popping to a Post Office and leaving all the work to them. It's like saying that a self-service checkout at a supermarket, or ordering your food and household products online, is simpler than using a service checkout - where supermarket paid staff do all the work for you. Well, that is totally illogical, as 'Obviously' being served is the most simple option of all, and something I always opt for when doing my shopping.

Not so simple delivery

I can just see all of those members scrolling through their phones at the Post Office counter trying to match up a pile of blank parcels with QR codes waiting for the counter staff to print each one thinking to themselves such 'simple delivery' !
