Hi, I’m a new seller on eBay. I recently made my first sale — a pair of AirPods 4. I shipped the item promptly and the buyer has received it without any issues.
Shortly after the delivery, I received an email saying my account was restricted from both buying and selling. I was not given any reason, and every attempt to contact support has led to vague or copy-paste responses telling me to “Contact Us,” which just loops back to the same page.
I’ve already tried calling support, but I wasn’t given any helpful information. I’ve followed all policies, and the item I sold was 100% genuine.
All I want is a fair review of my account so I can continue selling properly. Please help me escalate this to someone who can actually look into my account and explain why it was restricted.
My eBay username is: electronicworld.birmingham
Thank you.

It's Apple calling for the restriction. They have a Vero protection policy on their items so they cannot be sold online, on eBay.
Yes, you will see many listed, there are over 7 billion items on eBay at any one time, so some will slip the net and become listed. Once they are spotted and reported, they too will be removed.
Without Apple's permission to sell these items online, you cannot sell these on eBay.
Read about Vero from a link at the bottom of most eBay pages, to familiarise yourself with their policies.

Normally, if eBay isn't happy with a user's activities as a seller they (permanently) restrict that user's selling ability. To restrict a user's buying and selling abilities is very unusual without eBay also NARU-ing the account - after all, an account that can neither buy nor sell isn't much use.
Does the email state anything about the restrictions being "permanent"? Also, are eBay asking or have they previously asked for anything to be verified such as your ID or the business address? One final question is have you or anyone else closely associated with the business ever had an eBay account restricted in the past that you are aware of?
