Muliple Listings

I am trying to list the same type of items using the drop down box tool but am getting nowhere, does anybody out there know how to do it I will need a step by step guide what ever information I get from E Bay I can't follow please help as I have a number of items to list which exceeds the 300 per month allowed and doing 10 a day as auction items is no use at all as the same items come up for relisting 10 days later so it seems that the only way is "buy it now" but I have so many to list that doing it by single listings I will not be able to compete them for years Thank you

You can list more than 300 in a month, you just need to pay a listing fee. What does it say when you try and list the 301st item of the month?

Re: Muliple Listings

Do you mean variation listings?

These are only accessible to business sellers.

Variation listings are available to private sellers, but aren't available in all categories and sub categories, can you see a variation listing featuring similar items to yours already up and running?

Re: Muliple Listings

I'm pretty sure the Collectibles & Art category doesn't support MVLs at all.

Give me ambiguity or give me something else.

Re: Muliple Listings

Thank you for replying, each listing per month over the 300 is charged at 35p so a lot of money to list what I have plus the listing on auction is now only for a maximum of 10 days. I can go to "buy it now" but if I can do a multiple listing I can list a lot more with each multiple listing only counting as one listing.

@warclj-t5eu6r

If you can find a variation listing with similar items in the category and sub category(ies) you need, we can explain how to set one up.

If you can't find one then, as mentioned earlier, variation listing format isn't available for the items you're listing.

Re: Muliple Listings

Was more to the line saying you are only allowed 300, you for some reason beyond the thoughts of a simple man like me can list as many as you like on eBay you may just have to pay. You can just do 300 a month each month on GTC and get 3600 free listings a year. I think that shouldn't be allowed as 99% of accounts listing 3600 items are not private sellers but just space them out and you can use that huge loophole.

I'm sure after 300 listings in a month you'd be ready for a break from listing anyway as its not the most fun thing in the world especially if its not a business.

Re: Muliple Listings

Hi pegr-834437,

Thank you, the 3600 a year is good but only if I do a buy it now, a lot of my listings do not come within the criteria of minimum 99p, so not really an option, unfortunately the current auction listings are now only good for 10 days before they end and need to be relisted which is the main reasons I need to do multiple listings so by increasing the number of items while reducing the number of listings.
