Have been noticing what no doubt many others have seen.
So many Member to member support questions from forum users thinking they
are getting through to eBay staff, asking for a refund , where is my item etc
Does it need re-titling without the word support ?

Probably......maybe the word support should be replaced by advice.

It's also all the posts where the answer is in the money back guarantee!
Drives us mad and we did ask whether there could be a prompt or something to direct them to guidance first, but it never happened.
Part of the problem is also that when a member looks for help, ebay effectively directs them to the M2M first.
And don't get me started on all the very old posts on the general boards that have titles like 'complaint' that members add their new queries to. These queries often having nothing to do with the original topic.

and how are these members going to get on with all the changes in the near future.......

I don't think so, when you're directed there there's a large heading saying:

Indeed like so many buyers who never read the description fully.

Except, it is not a big stretch of the imagination (for the inexperienced) to conclude that Community Mentors might just be eBay staff - 'mentoring the community'.

I think that train of thought would be a little weird. People can think all sorts of things and read and perceive sentences any which they they choose. If they do think that they're in contact with eBay CS then we politely point out that we're not, no great shakes.
You can go on forever with small stuff like this.
You can please some of the people some of the time etc.

Well, I've no intention of going on forever about it. It was just my opinion based on observation of the posts from those (usually first time posters) who have come to that conclusion.

I'm not seeing it as a major issue on M2M, I don't believe that any of the other responders there do either. If that were the case we'd be suggesting a change of wording to eBay.

OMG - for so many reasons, this post from someone thinking not only they are
talking to eBay staff, but also think they are talking to the seller on Member to member support
Just spat my tea out for 2 reasons in particular

Morning @messier44000
Yep, they would be me, this poster is trying to send back their faulty to me! Thought my answer to them, what their actions should be to receive a refund, was pretty clear, but seemingly not!
As said, you can't please all the people all of the time, or here, explain the path they need to take to resolve a matter ! 🤔

I can imagine were a few BBLs updated after that .........😮

Not a big stretch at all considering eBay's indirect (manipulative?) definitions e.g. the infamous "despatched".
