MC011

hi everyone I got an mc011 about two weeks ago sent over all my Tracking for delivered orders and reviews for ones I could not prove with tracking unfortunately I can't prove 3 orders as they are pre orders for the new pokemon coming out in January and March 2025 I have let both the buyers know (one buyer has two orders) that these will be shipped early next year and I'll upgrade shipping so they receive them next working day. I have stated this in every email and also said provided proof of purchase and said that the 3 orders total amount of 282.17 can be on hold till they are delivered or if they have to cancel the 3 orders I completely understand. I'm currently off work due to illness the rest of my money on hold is to help with bills and Christmas as I'm off till the new year.

If anyone can help or give advice would be much appreciated as I don't know what to do as I seemed to be going around in circles.

You might want to read eBay's presale policy:

"Presale listings must clearly state that they are "presale" in the title and description, and guarantee postage within 40 business days of purchase."

You still have active listings so your ability to sell isn't currently restricted - just your payouts. You'll need to provide eBay with whatever information they are asking for but I think you're going to have to cancel the presale items and refund the buyers.

Have you had any recent INAD or INR cases opened against you?

Give me ambiguity or give me something else.

I haven't had any cases opened against me just the pre order listing I have said to them in every email I'm happy for them to cancel the pre orders.

Buyers only have a limited time to cancel an order - I believe it is 1 hour from when they pay. After that they have 30 days following the latest estimated delivery date to open a Money Back Guarantee case. That's why eBay have their presale policy (which your presale listings did not comply with).

You obviously can't provide tracking for these items and eBay are unlikely to release the hold on your funds until they are satisfied all the goods you have sold are either on their way or have been delivered.

Give me ambiguity or give me something else.

You probably have no choice if eBay are withholding your payouts due to having no tracking or proof of delivery for them. You will need to be very apologetic and diplomatic with the buyers involved to avoid any negative feedback from them.

MC011 usually means a permanent selling restriction but you obviously haven't received the "risk to our community" email otherwise I doubt you would still have active listings. Also, eBay's customer service reps - who aren't the greatest help at the best of times - usually can't help with MC011 notifications. You really need to supply all the information eBay is asking for - they're unlikely to release your payouts until the warning message no longer appears in your account.

Re: MC011

As @4_bathrooms has advised, you need to be apologetic to avoid negs.

Perhaps you could tell the buyers that, as soon as you receive the cards, or have a confirmed delivery date with tracking for the cards, you will give them first refusal - say for a period of 48 hours.  That way, if demand is high when they're on general sale, those buyers will be guaranteed to get the cards.

If the presold items don't comply with eBay's 40 working day presale rule then you will need to cancel them and relist nearer the release date so you are in compliance with the policy.
