I'm having problems with the new Simple Delivery. I thought I selected a up to 750g label by default as I put on a Nintendo Switch game, but it gave me 100g label - maybe it selects 100g large letter by default. With this you also can't change it after a bid has started or it has bought. You have to cancel the order, then get them to repurchase it.
Has anyone else had this issue, or it is just me?
Many thanks,
Michael

Simple delivery is ridiculous, my buyers were paying £1.55 for a large letter 100g. Now if they want to buy, ( which i think they wont), it will cost them £2.70 under a 1kg. Its nowhere near a 1kg. What are you playing at Ebay. Return it to how it was. Us sellers will start selling else where

"I,m afraid they will take no notice to change back as even if thousands of private sellers stop using them ,that id dwarfed by the millions around the world ."
You might be right, although I'm a bit more optimistic, even if only slightly. This is because whilst I agree that ebay.uk is only a cog in the global wheel, it is the biggest single market after the USA and the parent company will want to see every individual country meet its targets and give them the required return. If ebay.uk doesn't do that, it wouldn't make sense to continue down the same road. Presumably they would have to change something, although I accept that it may not be the change we want. In fact based on recent experience, they might make it even worse - it could be a case of "be careful what you wish for"!

Spot on ,
With out going into all the technical issues 'simple delivery ' has actually cost me money.
Had a problem with the QR code just disappearing ( on two occasions)
Felt obliged to send items as buyer had paid so paid out of my own pocket.
Contacted E bay customer services no help at all .
Was very stressful and wasted half a day.
It was so easy before .
Had problems so in the end just cancelled the two transaction made me look like the bad guy when I had 100% good record.
Won't be using eBay for selling as don't want the stress again
A pity but there you go
Cheers.

I hate it , I am paying for the bubble wrap , paper , packaging , sticky tape , petrol wear and tear on the car , and eBay are just ripping us off , I used to rely on postage before to cover all this , I sold a item the other day 99p , cost me £2 to parcel up etc , and my time petrol going to post office they charged the customer £6 in postage and made at least £3.50 profit , plus the have buyers protection separate about £1.40 so basically they made £5 on my £0.99 item, I know who is winning here and it's not me ,

Hello , I am having this same problem , I did not realise simple delivery had generated a code , so I posted with royal mail office and got a tracking . buyer has told me they received their goods but there is no way for me to confirm this . Pls how can I get paid pls .

It's utterly useless, tracking doesn't update and end up having to wait until the max time period has elapsed before they release the money.. Greed has ruined the platform, used to be flexible and useful now it's just tedious from start to finish
