Sent via via RM International tracked & signed, 21st April, cleared customs & attempted delivery & notified of it's location to be collected.
No contact prior, case opened yesterday for INR.
Tracking entered into case with screenshots of tracking info & it's now updated to being returned from Germany.
Does attempted delivery count for overseas, or is the entire amount auto refunded if the parcel arrives back?
I can't find the Ebay policy for this senario... if anyone can help - thanks

I would have thought as it was a tracked parcel, and tracking shows 'delivery attempted', surely the case would be settled in your favour?

You would think so.
We don't mind refunding the item price if it comes back, but refunding the postage feels off. The whole sale felt off at the time.
They've made contact & are saying we can either send again or refund them.

Hmm. Did they have any explanation as to why the item wasn't delivered/collected? Wonder why there wasn't more than one delivery attempt?

I've had this with small parcel to USA not picked up from postage depot.
Return to me UK
Buyer contacted me and asked me to send an invoice so she could pay for the postage again, which I did.
Item was received in the USA on second trip out.

In the case he said that they didn't even attempt to deliver, yet tracking shows delivery attempted.
If the tracking is wrong all they had to do is click on the tracking number or message, but they waited & then opened an INR case.
I'm a bit tired now, but I think the case was opened after the return had started, which we couldn't see as tracking lagged

It's odd that the buyer says they didn't attempt to deliver, when the tracking shows a delivery attempt on April 28th & May 9th - and that they were 'left a note about how to make further arrangements'.
Hope the item arrives back safely. This sort of thing is a pain...
