InPost now no longer accepts Evri parcels

My local Post Office counter accepted 2 Evri parcels from me today. I've never put them i to the InPost thingy.

Hopefully that's another nail in the coffin of mandatory 'Simple Delivery'.......

I doubt it as Evri parcels are now accepted at Parcel Shops!

Inpost hasn't accepted them for ages. Only 2 ever did round here and they stopped just before xmas. Headache but that's Evri cutting costs all round. Just handy I deliver for Evri so i can just drop them into my depot.

This is just a real shame. It is so much easier 24/7 to drop parcels off at Inpost lockers. Evri are mad to stop this offer again as it just slows down the despatch. Ok you got shops which let’s face drive you around the bend when they have to wait for the mobile app to start up, 10 mins wait this morning!!, then you got to give your name and sign etc. where Inpost scan, door opens, put parcel in, close door and tape finish and away you go. Evri is you are looking for feedback here it is .

Evri are cutting costs all over unfortunately. Slashed most of our pay with an "exciting" new small parcel band. Basically just rebanded all the normal parcels as small parcels and shaved 6p off. The bigger nuisance to me is returns to amazon. I used to be able to print off an evri label and drop into depot. Now I need to go to a parcel shop and scan the qr code.
