I have tried to resist selling due to all these unnecessary changes, but after some recent costs, I have some items to sell, but I find it all so confusing now.
I just want to send low-cost items via first- or second-class RM postage and higher-priced items via tracked 48 or Special Delivery as I did previously with no issue at all. Can I do any of this now? If not, and I wish, for example, to send items tracked 48 or Special Delivery, do I have to get a label from eBay, and if so, how much extra does it cost?
As for lower-cost items, say up to £12, can I just put my own stamp on, or do I have to jump through more eBay hoops, and how much, if anything, extra do they charge, and can I still offer a postage discount for multiple purchases? Ty

There is lots of help available to you.
Up to £10 (I believe), then you can send via whatever method you choose.
Above that, then you use the label provided to you by Ebay.
You choose whether or not you or the customer pays for it.
Assuming of course that you are a private seller and not a business.

With SD you have to use the labels supplied by ebay. The only exceptions are letter items under £10/100g and extra large or heavy items. Apart from that I'm afraid you have no choice.

Generally, anything you list will have Simple Delivery as the postage service.
It is worth reading all of the details rather than getting information piecemeal from other members - see the link below. Follow all the links and read the FAQs.
Postage costs are actually quite competitive.
You can choose to use Royal Mail only and the labels provided do use Tracked 48.
You won't be able to use your own stamps, only the labels provided by Ebay.

I am still getting the option to choose Custom postage at the moment, also to select it on templates. Also revised a £10 plus item and still available. This is in the the Music category and for parcels, as well as letters.
