I think i may be being hacked. Postage costs altering on listing i haven't changed.

It's like someone is messing with my account, I put just two listing as special delivery (to cover higher cost) & other listing keep changing, I just sold an item listed as 48 only to find it's marked as special & asking me to pay £12. ..& I just looked at another item & that's also now changed to special.

I'v spent the last day just trying to revise listenings & they just keep changing.  Driving me up the wall tbh.

Thanks, I didn't know what 'using business policies for postage' means but think i'm getting idea, To revise i'v just gone to click 'edit policy' & haven't set one up for all items far as i'm aware. Unless when going to revise/list one I clicked 'revise policy' instead? Do you know how/where that's stored? &/or maybe how to switch it off. 

It seems odd as I ended that listing - though did just re-list stored listing.

I just noted when I go to revise the listings they have the same number on both. So I may have set one up by accident?

Great, Think that's sorted it, probably carried over policy created unknowingly via listing 'similar item' from previous template. Brilliant. That's so much, real help. 🙏

Underneath your user name, top left corner, go in to account settings. Scroll down the left column until you get to business policies.

Click on postage and you will see all of your policies. You can merge duplicate policies and delete any which are inactive.

If you name your policies to something simple which you will remember, such as  RM Free Postage or RM SD £12.50, when you create a listing you can select the right policy in the postage drop down box for your item.

If you edit a policy, it will edit all of the listings assigned to that policy which I think is what you have been doing.

Great, & guess it makes sense to have option to set up while listing. I may have set one up a while ago & been rehashing that as I noted the service shown 'while' listing (policy) didn't change regardless how actual service shown 'in' listing was updated,  all makes more sense now. ..So I'v been fighting my own hacking (:  live & learn i guess.

You are covered when using eBay Simple Delivery for up to £750. With that deal in place why would you want to use highly priced Royal Mail Special Delivery? With the item values you are selling its not necessary. Just use simple delivery for all your items.

Sorry for my inaccurate reply. I can see that you are a business seller. As such you use the postal service you wish.

If you want to do a ‘one off’ change to a postage policy on a listing without creating another, you can select edit cost for this listing only. This only updates the listing you are working on.

Thanks, i'm working it out slowly, Just figured out you can highlight the box where it's displayed without selecting one of the options below & get a full list of policies, that I made without really being aware. Deleted a few from other section & they are now mostly how i want.
