Fees For Cancelling A Bid And Ending An Auction Early

Anonymous
Not applicable

If you cancel an auction that has bids - you used to have to pay a fee - the price of the items final value fee (or something along those lines)

Now eBay is free to use... would a seller still get charged if they cancel a bid and end an auction early?

Apparently yes, you will do.

Ending an auction early with bids, you will be charged 5% of the highest bid,  up to a maximum fee of £20.

You will only lose an insertion fee if that applies, as per all listing fees they are non refundable.

Private sellers have 300 free listings so no 35p listing fee,  unless they exceed their monthly 300 limit.
