Evri? Anyone else having problems?

I sent 2 items last Tuesday, and they were scanned at the drop off point.

And that is it! No movement on the tracking, and the items have definitely left the drop off.

1 customer has complained and has been refunded by Ebay, not me. I am expecting the other to do the same.

Since we went onto Simple Delivery this is the 4th (Evri) parcel that has 'gone missing'!

Previously, in over 20years, I don't think I have had more than half a dozen go missing in total. I feel sorry for my customers, but at least I am not out of pocket now.

I think Simple Delivery is wonderful!

Sometimes lately they seem to be collected and not scanned until they are being sorted at the depot.  This has only happened since Evri made changes in their systems recently.  I suspect new and temporary staff doing the collections either aren't being given a scanner or don't realise they need to do it.

Hi, can I ask you how Ebay dealt with this, please. Buyers has been refunded of delivery or whole price, and what about you for your refund should the item not showing at all, please? I am very sorry for you, I used Evri before 2022, and until I sent items of low value or none, it was ok, but when I used them to collect an item for me, of high value, well, we ended up in small court claims to have a refund, and for what it matters, it was assured and not prohibited, I got their attention the moment I was ready to go legal after 1 month of wasting time and mocking over the phone, once you could phone them, now it is mostly bots. Check if your courier at your drop off is a proper person, they don't do checks on people and they don't get a wage, it is easy for them to round their money with people parcels, if this happens again, report it to small claims Court. Also since I stopped use them I got to realise it is very rare to lose a parcel, I didn't had one lost by the other couriers so far, I hope in yourcase it is just a delay.

The lost item was refunded to my buyer by Ebay. I assume that included the postage, but have no idea. with Simple Delivery the responsibility is Ebays not mine. So no financial loss to me, just an upset customer who chose to use Evri!!

I am waiting for three deliveries from Evri , should have been delivered yesterday Thursday 20th , between 3.30 pm and 5.30pm , still no delivery , used chat on Evri and they are suppose to looking in to it , about three weeks ago Evri lost a parcel , they are useless .

How does one go about checking this please? And are you suggesting that people working in parcel shops don't get paid? And that they nick parcels? Admittedly it's hard to decipher, so I may have misunderstood you.

Have been selling on and off for several years now, I only use Evri - Royal Mail and Parcelforce are hopeless IME - and I am still to have a single parcel go missing.

Hi, I was referring to Evri staff, not the parcelshop, considering Evri stole my item (it went out the depot scanned and then disappeared in the hands of courier of depot staff, never found out). I was referring to ask people in the parcel shops how the courier looks like, complaining, moaning about collections, sizes, kick the boxes and so. Lucky you, there are entire groups of poeple looking for their lost parcels, and by the way, just today I was at home, close the window, you could see me, Evri courier didn't knock my door, it was my neighbour delivery and then he knocked asking me if I could please give him back the parcel he throw into my garden... almost 2 metres of iron doors...they throw it into gardens without knocking, because he thought I was another door number... at least Royal Mail leave them with me, knocking all the time and in my hands. Gladly I don't use them anymore.

Ebay still deem you responsable, they just work in your behalf, yet something goes wrong you either wait for refund ages or they close the case in buyer favour. Another seller posted he had money taken from his sales instead, so I assume it is a random Lucky Wheel at the moment, I will pass on sales for now. Thank you for your reply.

Wow! That must have caused some serious damage to your garden... hope you're going to complain!

It landed on the floor, no plants or decorations involved, just my annoyed and mad neighbour, by the way it happened again! I am more concerned for the parcel, it is a high land.

Did you remeber the Evri guy that threw the parcel in my garden? We gave him back the parcel, and the day after my neighbour came again telling me there was a parcel in my garden with their pic and my iron door...  I thought it was another one, it was raining and I told him my flatmate would get it for him, but there was anything. He came back again the next day, in the morning and showed me the picture, it is the same parcel the guy threw in my garden 2 days before, and it was sunny in the pictures, he came at about lunch time, and I told my neighbour we gave him back the parcel, and guess what? The Evri guy never delivered to him! I am not surprised at all, since even my parcel disappeared with one of them, depot or courier I cannot know. The parcel was from Amazon, please make sure the shop selling you stuff does not use Evri delivery, you can read it aside, up the name of the shop on the right, scrolling the page.
