Do long term shop owners believe the eBay marketplace has improved with the changes eBay have made ?

Got worse in my opinion.

There seems to be changes every day, some are good, but not all & these need to be changed back.

Unless ebay lives up to its statement of making the site a fairer place for business sellers the recent changes will drive a lot of business sellers away. Many cannot compete with business competitors selling on private accounts. ebay's answer seems to be to encourage business sellers to trade illegally on private accounts. There's rumours of further changes to private accounts in January. We'll have to wait and see if these transpire and if they in any way address current issues. I'm not hopeful.

I am not hopeful either
I feel if these changes do transpire next year then it won't just be business sellers who are struggling to compete with those business sellers using private accounts to sell but also private sellers who find the changes a step too far that will stop selling.
Less sellers, less buyers, and it is already dire on here as it is.
Be interesting to see how it all plays out.

20 years Im told when I rarely call CS, small lifestyle business
Too many technical issues and slow response in resolving, has been getting better tho
Not a level platform for its sellers
CS is now truly awful, it was bad. Too much ignorance, lip service and practicall 0% CS in my experience
Business sellers regularly not listened to. examples this year EDD's Private Sellers Businesses Policies GPSR (thats just 4 of the top of my head for this year), that is so noticeable on threads and weekly chat, and its shameful. Can so many customers all be wrong?
Increased fees with less value,imo
Increase in user time/admin in maintaining 'best practices'
Failed system changes and feedback ignored.
Thats the negatives
Postives
Some improved selling tools
Improved buyer protection (when it works/managed correctly)
Not my level but I do pick up on high level sellers can and do have good CS relations/support
Road Shows, not been but its often spoke highly of, I get helpful info from attendees and YT vids.
Would like
Reduction in fees
Policies/Changes to work better/be tested properly, before being chucked on to the platform add policing
Fairer platform,
Better policing of bending of the rules/abusers of the platform with a reporting system that works
Improved CS and communication
These large changes happening and coming do worry me, that and the constant squeezing for every penny from everyone is making this platform unattractive, concerned for the effects of this

There needs to be a cap on the number of listings a private seller can have, 200 or so. I saw a private seller with over 15 thousand which is outrageous.
A reduction in shop fees a definitely needed.

With the shops I would like to see another couple of options. Something between basic and featured and another option between the featured and anchor. At the same time they could do with overhauling things like the packaging voucher for £10, or £20 a month, it doesn't buy anything has been the same for years (value wise) and the choice of items seems to get less and less. (as does the quality)
It would be good if you could either roll over the value of the voucher for up to 3 months eg make it £30 or £60 before losing it, and include things like board backed envelopes.
