EBay protection fees.

This is the first time  I’ve ever felt strongly enough to comment on this forum.  What a sly back handed way of claiming back some of your lost seller fees ebay!  Shame on you. I’ve been a loyal seller and buyer for over twenty years .  The majority of my listings are a fiver or less. My buyers already pay disproportionately high postage costs and now they are expected to pay extra for cover they already have anyway.  I’ve already seen a drop in bids and although I don’t want to leave eBay and move to other selling sites,  I don’t think I have an option ☹️

I do tend to agree with you and postage costs are rising again soon.   These are a big factor when i choose what to list (if anything)

I am being more and more selective as to what i list nowadays 😞

Unfortunately eBay do not come to these boards to see the comments, and there are many with your thoughts,  just take a peek at some of the long discussions on the forum some very passionate posts?

Not sure if you know but eBay did recently change one aspect of this new BPF system for low value items.  That is, for items of a value of £10 or less,  you do not have add that extra expensive tracking, which now releases payouts sooner for items over £10, but under,  and feedback received, will release that payout sooner.'
