I sold a second hand electronic (graphic card) which is very very difficult to accept a return realisticly. I dont everything i can to avoid the returns the cards getting tested many times, stress test and also cleaned to become spotless, also i send them with insurance, Its only £220 but i am doing my best.
But here again Ebay ******* me from the *bleep*. The buyer open a return case at the day 14! insisting a postage label off me, i calmly pay the postage label, buyer accuse me of selling broken graphic card yet i sold nearly 23 of them with no problem. I said to the Buyer, they must send me the item as if the item is still theirs, so pack well this is an electronic. Guess what ? item come damaged, item not working, its the day 24 which means this item been in buyers home 24 days !!!!!!! i recieved the item day 25. talked with Ebay customer service they told me that no need to worry about it if you dont want you dont have to refund, or partly refund it. So what happen ? today Ebay refunded behalf of me ! i sell nearly £10K every year and buy even more then £10K , this is becoming ridiculus! Ebay just happy take money from me but not happy to back me when there is something wrong. So i am going to make this viral on social media so people wont sell on this ridiculus place. Sellers basicly got no rights what so ever. i am going to call ebay now rip the heart of a representetive which is got nothing to do with it.
Solved! Go to Solution.

That sounds like just a bit more than a hobby to me!
So why not look at changing to a business account with Ebay!
And whilst your saying how bad Ebay is on social media, don't forget to tell them all about all of the illegal traders who are selling on Ebay and giving it a bad reputation!

Can you claim off the delivery company?

I upgraded my graphics card so sold the one it replaced. Never again. The buyer damaged it and then opened a return saying it was broken, when I got it back, I could see damage that wasn’t there when I sent it, neither was it on any of the photos I took for listing. It also wouldn’t have sustained that damage in transit either as it was sent in its original box (I never discard boxes when its pc upgrades). I appealed, ebay sided with the buyer.

Your right, my mistake.
But it definitely appeared as private when I looked before.
