I have sold 2 iitems to the same person. They brought each item at different times, but withing minutes of each other.
I used simple delivery and printed 2 labels. Only realising as I'm packing that the items go to the same address. So I have put them in 1 parcel.
Now this has happened before and I just refund the person the postage, however this I'm broke! And sick of giving back almost £3 on cheap purchases. When the postage doesn't go to me anyway!
How do I get ebay to refund the buyer?
The help guide says it will return the postage in a few weeks of the label being unused. Is this true for a printed label?
Tl/dr: how do I get ebay to refund postage on a label that's been printed but not scanned?

Payments for unused simple delivery labels go back to buyer withing 30 days.

This happened to me this week. Used to be able to refund but with S.D. not sure.
Does add to basket and request total still work?.
Having bought, could people cancel, I relist, get them to add to basket?.
Wrong people should have to pay twice for postage, but with the need for tracking - all that. I don't know the best way.
Thanks,

Sorry, that I cannot confirm that placing items in basket first will automatically combine postage, it seems it has for some but others not finding this possible!
However, if an SD label is not used, the refund goes back, not instantly, to who paid for that postage.
