We moved house a few months ago so had to close the eBay account for a while. We want to reopen now but about 70% of our stock is still in storage.
Is it possible to mass-delist all of our items and then go through them one at a time, only re-listing those that we actually have access to? Mainly I want to check that any listings that we remove won't be deleted, either in the short or long-term, and can be reactivated later. We have about 300 listings and a huge amount of work went into making them so I don't want to risk losing the ones we want to disable now but reactivate later.
TIA 🙂

You can end your listings which should put them in the 'unsold' list. From there you can then relist at a later date. There might be a limit as to how many unsold items there is, I've never done more than two at a time.
The other option is to put a massively over the top price on the items you don't have access to so they are still active but will never sell for the high price?

The list is unlimited or at least allot I've ended over 1000 before all been in the unsold list.
Ending them is the easiest way and probably the best way

Thanks for the reply. Just to check, there's no "delete date" with ended listings? I think there is with drafts, in that they self-delete after 90 days. But ended listings will last forever until reactivated?

No, they also get automatically deleted after 90 days.

90 days limit on ended, if not enough time your better off using the ridiculous selling price way.
Then ending and sell similar when needed. sell similar is the preferred ebay method for getting your listing to appear in a general search.

I regularly end hundreds of listings, 200 at at time but frequently have 500 plus in 'ended' and they are also in 'unsold'.
I think they stay there for up to 90 days. I've had an item lounging in 'unsold' since around Christmas (it's a pair of cufflinks and one has gone walkabout) so certainly been at least 8 weeks.
The bulk listing tool is pretty good, you can amend descriptions, prices and item specifics etc. You can also bulk edit postage.
Only thing to really watch for is if you list 'sell similar ' instead of 'relist' the listings stay in unsold and if your doing listings piecemeal you need to be aware of that.
If you have listings available, you can always do a relist and immediately end the items, to reset the clock allow more time in ended.
Frankly, if I wanted to save a heap of listings for a good while, I'd pay the listing fee to be able to hang onto the listing a while longer.
