Has anyone else noticed lack of sales since the buyer protection update 4th february 2025. I used to sell quite a lot and virtually sold nothing since 4th Feb. Can anyone else relate to this and what can we do?

It’s just not buyer-friendly any more. I bought a hotwheels car last week for a few pounds. The list showed one price, then during purchase a different price plus a BPF, then at final stage, yet another price with a percentage of VAT. The final amount i paid was not what the original list said though. Crazy. I wish i’d kept all the screen grabs of that process to share. If it’s that messy for a toy car, what must it be like for more valuable items? No wonder buyers have walked.
I only sell occasionally, zero at the moment, and my last sales were losses.
it was so simple back in 1998 when i started. We even made friends around the world that we still keep in touch with.
Hey Ho. Onwards and downwards.

Hello … I see you have sold 30+ items in past month. There are several of us wishing we had a fraction of that figure.

Yes, my sales have dropped from 5-10 a day to 1-2 a day, even though I've been forced to lower prices to include the BPF. Not game-breaking for me as it's not a business and I'm simply clearing storage boxes out, but annoying nonetheless as it's reduced the amount of pocket money I then get to spend on eBay.
