Well I have 2 ebay account , first I use via the app and a couple of days ago I could only list new items under simple delivery and already my first so i had a rathercomplaint about late delivery ty evri,now just had a rather colourful conversation with ebay and said I will leave ebay within the next week and as if by magic I have custom postage back
As for my 2nd newer ebay which I use via Web still only option is simple delivery but I have managed to deselect evri from both

I’ve had a tinker and think you can still create the listing in the app, but then tweak the postage on phone browser afterwards before going live with the listing, but not finalised it to properly test it yet.

They removed custom postage so private sellers can be charged more. The buyers fee also reduces your sales because buyers can buy cheaper with business sellers. This means private sellers will have to reduce their prices to sell most items.

Not happy with being bullied into using simple postage - I need to pack item and then weigh and decide the postage as I used to ! This is not a good move from eBay With the seller fee as well items have to be reduced Why could they not just leave it alone. Totally fed up with them and will try Vinted in future

Having the same problem, i can't comprehend how moronic the people at ebay actually are. Eg, trying to list a table with dimensions of 75cm x 100cm x 100cm, the largest parcel size i can select is 61cm x 46cm x 46cm(medium parcel). I've just been on the phone to customer agent for 55 minutes and got absolutely nowhere....ebay self destruction? Stupidy of the highest order, how can a company the size of ebay be this incompentent. Mind officially blown!

It seems a permanent feature now, can't choose custom delivery options, they've automatically fixed some of my listings to simple delivery!

Same here. I wanted to re-list something and there is no longer the option to select Custom Delivery. If I want to list it now it is going to cost me £2.72 delivery instead of £1.55. A total rip off by Ebay!

Your items should be exempt from simple delivery under 100g under £10
sewing patterns eg bring up custom delivery for me
if they don’t for you ask customer services why is it the case that you can’t

Its not, SD is now mandatory regardless of what you are selling, I was selling items under 100g which was exception come 1st July Ebay have done away with the Custom option and along with the maximum of 3 days to post its now SD or don't list
