Confirmation of delivery

If eBay will be holding our payments from sales  until delivery, after 5th Feb, should the buyer not be made to confirm as soon as  they have had their item delivered ? I like to get feedback, so I know they have their purchase but so many buyers  never bother leaving feedback.

Re: Confirmation of delivery

It will rely on tracking showing as delivered, not on the buyer saying it has arrived or feedback. If the tracking does not show as delivered or is untracked you will get paid after 14 days.

You can’t make buyers mark things as received any more than you can make them leave feedback. There’s no facility for that anyway, and feedback won’t be taken as proof of delivery.

Tracking will show delivery and if it doesn’t and there are no complaints payment will be made at 14 days after order.

The new rules don't apply to properly registered bidders accounts.

That might be the answer to your problem.

I don’t get it. What difference will that make, apart from you won’t be selling for two weeks after every sale?

Re: Confirmation of delivery

Yep that is how i be doing things why should spend my own money 2 post out as if i do more than 2 at a time that would be very costly that i can't do so blame ebay not me.

Re: Confirmation of delivery

You will need to put time away permanently and then change your shipping dispatch time to 14 days and I do believe time away can only be for 30 days and extended 1 or 2 times, this may have changed.

You do realise the 14 days starts after the item has been dispatched not when the buyer has paid? Nice idea but it won't work.

I have a simple solution, change to a business account and continue to be paid instantly.
