Collection code not working

Is anybody else having issues with collection codes not working? Invalid code, according to the app. It's definately not an invalid code, I got it from the buyer directly from their phone while they were standing here.  I have marked it as dispatched but that isn't going to help in the case of INR.

 Ebay customer support were hopeless, does anybody have a solution for this? (The invalid code, not eBay customer support).

There are so many glitches on the site currently,  this could well be another.

However, see if this workaround helps.

The buyer is given a code and also a number,  ask the buyer for this number,  and enter it manually, it works the same as scanning the QR code.

Are you trying to enter the 6 digit code or are you trying to scan the QR code?

This is the method that I used, it still doesn't accept it. The buyer has since left good feedback for the item and no case has been opened so all looks well but it's worrying that the collection code doesn't work.
