Cancelling scheduled listings

Hi,

I know how to cancel a scheduled listing but does anyone know if it's possible to cancel it but without deleting the listing, so leaving the listing as unsold so I can re list it at a later date? Hope this makes sense!

Re: Cancelling scheduled listings

If it's a free listing then send it live and then immediately end it, that way it will go to your Unsold section.

Obviously don't do this if there are listing fees, such as a Reserve or you're listing a vehicle.

Re: Cancelling scheduled listings

You could just reschedule it.  Doing this every 3 weeks will hold it in your schedule list until you need it.

The reschedule tab is in the drop down menu by the edit option on the left-hand side.

Re: Cancelling scheduled listings

Select "Sell similar" then save for later.

At that point you'll have two copies of the same listing, one in Scheduled, one in Drafts. Now delete the one in Scheduled.

Thanks for the replies. Might try selecting 'sell similar' that way I'm not using my listings

Re: Cancelling scheduled listings

Rescheduling doesn't use your listings either.  What's more its quicker and you don't have to remember to cancel the original listing.

Re: Cancelling scheduled listings

If they want to relist it in a couple of weeks that way probably would work. The problem is if they don't want to actually list it for a couple of months then they would have to remember to reschedule it every three weeks otherwise it would go live.

Not a problem if you're organised.  I've done it that way.  I've also done it by resched in a couple of mins time, go to active, end it.

Sell similar would lose notes you have associated.  I use notes on every item, not least to tell me where I've stored it and when I first listed it.
