I recently sold an item and Can't withdraw my funds. Why is Ebay not allowing me to withdraw my sales receipts?
The so called 'NEW ' process says there is a 'Withdraw' option in the sellers hub which we can opt for at any time to transmit funds to our bank accounts. . If there is, it is well hidden. i have spent over 2 hours trying every screen I can find and there is ABSOLUTELY NO WITHDRAW OPTION. This suggests to me that Ebay are deliberately witholding funds. Why ?

That's it. Obvious when you know, not so obvious when you assume the 0.00 means there is nothing to withdraw. So to recap. The figure beneath tells you how much you have in your account. You can then choose to take out all of it or some of it and enter the amount you wish to withdraw replacing the 0.00 in the blue box. The grey tab below should now light up and presto - your money is on its way.
All it needs is a quick guide in brackets to make everything simple. Ebay have not thought this new system through and assume we're all mindreaders!
Thanks

Type the amount to withdraw to the part that says £0
NOT the part that says £0.00
It DOES make a difference
Then proceed from there
But yes, this is a very silly system and the IT bods that built it have no idea how user-UNfriendly the interface and process is!

"Ebay have not thought this new system through .... " I suspect they have, and it is working as they intended. Their aim was for private sellers to hold a reserve in their wallet to spend back on eBay. Making it difficult to open that wallet achieves that aim.

I am in the same situation - I cannot withdraw the funds. The funds are showing as available to withdraw (not on hold or being processed). However, the 'WITHDRAW' button is grey and dead. I emailed eBay, spoke via on-line chat and actually spoke to a live person. The eBay Agent told me to do all those things: use a different browser, clear all caches, try via the App on the phone, change bank account, change credit card for selling costs, use my husband's credit card. We tried to do all the above together with the Agent on the phone - both on the Mac OS and on the iPhone. Nothing worked. The Agent said it must be a technical error and somebody will get back to me within 24 hours. Nobody got back to me. It's been more than a week now. I still cannot withdraw the funds. Please help - what else can I do? Who can I elevate this to?

On a laptop / PC and try with Chrome , try this, and apologises if you have tried this already.
On the page where you can see the Withdraw greyed out add the amount you wish to withdraw not where it states £0.00, but at the top add the amount where it shows £0 in a bigger bolder print, then the greyed out Withdraw should ' light up' for you to be able to click on to withdraw your specified amount.

I had the same problem on Edge - when I clicked the arrow nothing happened. However, when people on this thread said a pop-up box should appear, I realised that I had pop-ups disabled for Edge. So I enabled them just for eBay. I also cleared cookies and the cache for good measure. When I logged back in, I got the pop-up box and was able to withdraw. Could this work for you?

Im having the same issue - my bank acc is linked but the send to bank acc is greyed out 🤷🏻♀️

Are you trying to add the amount to wihdraw perhaps in the wrong place?
Use a PC / laptop clear cache and cookies and try this:
Click on Payments >> Summary then any payout available for immediate withdrawal, is available for you, in a big blue banner.
Click on that Withdraw > arrow, you may need to log in again, or even verify your account by receiving a text or email code.
On the pop up screen which appears, click on Withdraw found at the bottom of that screen. You will see £0.00 at the bottom, at the top a larger £0. There, in the larger darker £0 at the top, manually enter the amount you wish to withdraw. Bottom right Withdraw should be lit up for you to click on.
Then click on the final Send (it will show the amount to be withdrawn ) Now.

Thanks for the reply lovely.
Im a long standing seller & had no issues before this new payments change.
However, this morning i logged in & it was nolonger greyed out.....I did as you suggested re typing in the amount to withdraw & it worked 👍🏻 Payment has been sent to my bank account.
Thanks & this community is great (never used it before, but will again 👍🏻)

That is SO good to hear , that it's worked for you, and I do hope others seeing those guidelines above will follow with the same results!
It's not a well laid out scheme, and I'm sure as indeed I did first time round, peeps are adding the amount they wish to withdraw into £0.00 , and not into that larger, bolder , darker coloured £0 at the top of that page!
Learning curve for all, but the inital layout needed a clearer easier formula, in my humble opinion ! 🤗

When I withdrew funds on Friday, the box at the top that used to have a zero in it was blank. No zero. (You still proceed as before and fill in the amount you want to withdraw.) Possibly Ebay have realised that the zero was a little confusing.

Mmmm, wonder if that was just a Friday, eBay's maintenance day temporary glitch when often things disappear and reappear at will?
eBay don't venture forth to these boards so doubt they'll know of the confusion their ill thought out withdrawal scheme is causing.
Did mine today, the big £0 still there at the top.
Check yours again today, see if it's mysteriously reppeared..

Nope. Just checked it, it is blank.
That is what is weird with Ebay, things appear dfferently to different people. Some changes ripple through, maybe I got an update early on? Using chrome browser FWIW.

Oh boy, and now after 'finding' the way to help peeps by advising them to add that amount into that big Bold £0 they go and take it away?? !!
You are correct though, using different browsers, different devices, different combinations of the two, many things appear in different places or even, not at all. ' One size' doesn't fit all on eBay !
Mine is still there ! I too, am on a laptop and using Chrome.
Please don't tell us eBay, you now have several methods peeps can / cannot withdraw their payouts! 😩

I am on a tablet, android, on Chrome, on seller hub, and I don't even get the blue banner, this is what I get when I click payments then summary!!
While I was trying things to get my available funds/blue banner, I lost all my information down the side (active, drafts, unsold, etc) and the bits along the top, (reports, payments, performance etc) so rang CS, (English)! We eventually got it all back, then I stupidly told him about not being able to get my money out, he put me through to that department (Germany), oh dear, can't do it on seller hub, took me to all selling, so long winded and loads of clicks to get to blue banner etc. I didn't take it out as there was only a few pounds in. Anyway going back to seller hub I lost all information again (back now), but really apprehensive about going to all selling again! How do I do it from seller hub?
03-11-2024 10:48 AM
Make sure you are on the Seller Hub here:
I'm on the Seller Hub and use a laptop with Chrome try that combinations but I do suggest clearing cache and cookies first then this is how I withdraw my payouts.
Click on Payments >> Summary then any payout available for immediate withdrawal, is available for you, in a big blue banner.

@tressygirl You deserve a medal for the patience and persistence you are displaying in trying to resolve this issue for members. Excellent work.
One has to ask however; where is eBay's advice, help, or even guidance information in what appears to be a widespread issue of many private sellers trying to recover their payments?
On a separate note - Khoros have still not been able to reset their spellcheck to English with the above message showing 'a' and 'eBay's' as the only words in the above message spelt correctly. It does make you wonder whether the programmers and developers at eBay and Khoros are one and the same! Five days and running after being reported on what should be a simple fix.

Yes, done it from your link and get the same as before. I only have a tablet but do use Chrome.
