I recently sold an item and Can't withdraw my funds. Why is Ebay not allowing me to withdraw my sales receipts?
The so called 'NEW ' process says there is a 'Withdraw' option in the sellers hub which we can opt for at any time to transmit funds to our bank accounts. . If there is, it is well hidden. i have spent over 2 hours trying every screen I can find and there is ABSOLUTELY NO WITHDRAW OPTION. This suggests to me that Ebay are deliberately witholding funds. Why ?

One more thing to try, as this has helped some. Use a PC / laptop for the following.
Opt out of the Seller Hub, top right you should see the link to Opt Out of Seller Hub
Then, click on Payments >> Summary then any payout available for immediate withdrawal, is available for you, in a big blue banner.
Click on that Withdraw > arrow, you may need to log in again, or even verify your account by receiving a text or email code.
On the pop up screen which appears, click on Withdraw found at the bottom of that screen. You will see £0.00 at the bottom, at the top a larger £0. Into that larger £0 at the top, manually enter the amount you wish to withdraw. Bottom right click on > Withdraw.

This is frustrating for you I agree, but the solution is there somewhere. Perhaps contact eBay Customer Services they can also see if any of your payouts are perhaps on hold, this too, would show a greyed out area for withdraw. They should be able to see why and where this block is.
I do recommend contacting them very first thing tomorrow morning when the lines open at 8 a.m. there's more chance of Dublin answering.

There have been changes. I think people are now being forced to not be able to change.
So, essentially, I've become a taste tester now. and due to this there will be also bugs that need sorting out like now ..

I'll admit it took me a few goes to withdraw the money as I was entering the amount into the wrong place into £0.00 instead of the big £0.
It works now for me, and I've withdrawn money twice early in the morning, and it was in my bank that same morning, before midday.
Different banks have different processing times, so maybe others are experiencing a later depositing into their bank account, mine has taken a few hours.

I feel somthing is amiss with your account. A few days long ago I was in a ' conversation' with a poster seeing the same as you a greyed out area, we must have through more combinations of device v. browser v. Seller Hub etc tha a Rubix cube. It lasted all day, they finally they contacted CS, who saw the issue was a missing verification of their account which was needed, which we here being members like everyone else, have no access to accounts, so I couldn't see this.
Her issue was solved, this is why, fingers crossed, CS tomorrow morning with the benfit of full access to your account can explain the next steps you need to take to withdraw your monies.
As said, do come back and tell us what they said, but speak only to Dublin, it's a Call Back option so you'll hear those dulcet tones!

As far as I'm aware, ebay have not changed anything as far as payments go for business sellers.

Sorry to disappoint but my issue is STILL NOT resolved!!! Up to now I have uploaded my Gov.issued ID (voting letter) this was no good, they then wanted my birth Cert. and utility bill with full name and address again I uploaded these documents, this still wasn't releasing my funds, then they wanted my marriage Cert. I again uploaded this document and STILL my funds are on hold!!
I've phoned CS about 15 times now, each time I get a different person and more promises, I even had a Joe and a Lenny actually swear to me they would personnelly handle my case and call me back.....not been contacted at all!!! All because I don't have a passport or driving licence, these uploaded documents are being sent to the USA for verification (I've been told this a number of times) well they obviously don't know what U.K documents should look like, surely someone from the UK should approve these!
I've had my account 19 years now, I've got 100% feedback, not one red flag against my name, lived in the same address for 25 years, had the same bank account for over 30 years, well today I totally lost it and after more empty promises I have contacted the Financial Ombudsman, I've had enough!! I just want my money for MY item that I sold!! How dare they keep my money!!

I think you've gone through quite enought to still be back to square one.

I think the issue with this member is some documentation which needs to be verified, this is proving the difficulty and until sorted it's a temporary impasse !

no I still can't withdraw my funds, big red banner now stating I need to verify my ID which I have already done (4 items of proof, birth Cert. Gov.issued photo ID, utility bill and marriage Cert) I have NO passport/driving licence and this is the issue even though I've been told multiple times on the CS phone line I have done enough, even they don't have an answer for me.........it's seriously getting to me!!
Been told to basically stop phoning them and to wait 5 working days so America top office has a chance to review my documents, what a joke!! They have had at least 2 full weeks now!!

So infuriating for you but you know now, it is a verification of ID issue, and with no passport or driving licence unfortunately this does cause those major issues and delays.
At least you've been told this is off to eBay HQ across the Golden Pond, so it is a 5 day wait I'm afraid, please come back and tell us what they finally suggest you do !

yes it's very infuriating indeed!! when I uploaded the last document my marriage Cert. I had a message saying all done we will get back to you soon, and the red banner went, the very next day it was back saying:
Your payouts are on hold until you update your account details. Please update by 15 Nov, 2024 to avoid further restrictions.
I called CS again for the 20th time asking why it's been refused again and they didn't know why as according to them every document has been okayed with HQ, so why can't I still get my money!
They then told me to wait 5 working days............none of this makes sense, hence why I emailed the Financial Ombudsman, this is no way to run a business!!! I'm fuming about it all!!

Same, I have been trying for almost a week to find the withdrawal link, it's not there, I've emailed them five times and five times they have said there is nothing wrong, they can see it from their end. Absolute nightmare.

Yep I clicked on the payment tab, it brought up the blue screen with the little arrow on the right hand side but when I click on the arrow, absolutely nothing, no response whatsoever. Have explained this to customer service and no help in regards to correcting this problem. Everything else works fine except the withdrawal link, surprise surprise

It would appear they now make it as difficult as possible to withdraw funds. Everything is very difficult on eBay now. Nothing seems to sell and when it does it goes for next to nothing . They give customers too many options so customers wait until the very last minute to get item as cheap as possible . They should go back to the old/original format which worked perfectly
