I recently sold an item and Can't withdraw my funds. Why is Ebay not allowing me to withdraw my sales receipts?
The so called 'NEW ' process says there is a 'Withdraw' option in the sellers hub which we can opt for at any time to transmit funds to our bank accounts. . If there is, it is well hidden. i have spent over 2 hours trying every screen I can find and there is ABSOLUTELY NO WITHDRAW OPTION. This suggests to me that Ebay are deliberately witholding funds. Why ?

Try from here:
https://www.ebay.co.uk/help/selling/getting-paid/getting-paid-items-youve-sold?id=4814#section2
Under the heading Payouts on Demand click on Payments tab, then click on the arrow on the right of the pop-up box you'll get, and select Withdraw.

Sorry, I also do not see "payouts on demand" or "Witdraw" anywhere. I only have a "Payments" menu item and cannot find how to force withdraw.

Did you click on peaceblossoms link?
You should see this...
Click on the Payments tab. You should be able to withdraw funds from there.

Yes, I have been in this Payments tab 10 times today, but there is no "withdraw" button. Here is a screenshot.

Click on the arrow (top right corner of blue box). Opens new box showing balance and a 'Withdraw' button bottom right.

Yes that's it. Click the little arrow on the right in the blue box

Yes, but I don't want to use the app. Why is it not working on a proper computer?

Have you tried different browsers?

Hi @tillyandwillow @smokeonthewateruk @mail8dbj ,
Thank you for your posts.
Can you do a clear of cache and cookies and then try to use different browsers to see if it works to withdraw your funds. Some users did experience issues with Safari last week but that has since resolved.
If the issue still persists with different browsers can you let me know what browser you are using and share a screen shot to show your view( please remove any personal info)
Thank you,
Kat

I have also wasted a lot of time trying to withdraw funds to no avail. It looks very much like eBay are not only hanging onto funds generated from sales but also encouraging sellers to use these funds on purchases on the platform, thus keeping everything in house. I wish this new system hadn't been introduced and available funds were simply released to sellers' bank accounts as before. Then we have the choice how to use them. I do buy as well as sell on eBay but if the problem persists I will have to think again

Thank you smoke on the water. I have just tried to withdraw using my phone and it worked but may take a few days to reach my account. However thank you for your useful information.

My experience is 6 minutes from initiating a withdrawal to receiving a message from my bank (Starling) confirming they have my funds. YMMV it may depend on who you bank with.

At the payment page at the top where it says payout amount, you have to type the amount you wish to withdraw from your available amount

Yes, I was doing the withdrawal on my desktop, couldn't figure out why it wasn't working. Then realised I was asking to withdraw 0, and it's not just a choice of withdraw all or withdraw nothing. Typed in the full amount, it's worked.
