Have the fees been added to auctions?
I have a load of 99p start auctions in clothing which is now a category with the fees added (I was hoping to have a big clear-out before they got added!) but I can't see any sign of the fee in my auction listings with or without bids, even when 'pretending' to make bid from another account.
1. Are the fees hidden in auctions and the buyer will get a surprise when it ends?
2. Have they not been added to existing auction listings?
3. Not added to auctions at all?

1 kind of hidden. You have to click through from main listing to see mention of it.
2. They have been added to existing listings. One I was watching didn't have it 2 days ago, finished with it today.
3. It's added, as above.
Just depends on where the item category is in relation to BPF rollout.

I've just looked a few auctions. It looks like if I sell for 99p Ebay will take the 75p plus 4% from my 99p!!!

Actually I've obviously got that wrong!

That snot a problem it s a very confusing thing eBay have done.
I think even the regular posters are struggling with all the nuances . when it will applies don't think they've sorted the offer's out yet. Offers where taking the BPF fee out of seller payment.

Wait til the same bidder wins more than one item of yours - the fee is multiple by the number of items - so obviously you will have the sale cancelled , as i'm sure you don't blame the buyer for his actions in not paying for multi protections when one is more than enough - i wouldn't for sure.
This farce was not designed, its just an accident someone picked up on.

Yeah, you still get your 99p but the buyer has to pay eBay 79p on top.
Now, imagine a shop where all the prices were nearly doubled when you got to the checkout. How many customers would be happy about that? And how many would say "eff that" and walk out?

There was something published by Money Supermarket that said auctions that ended at 99p or less would not be subject to the fees, but ebay have not confirmed it on the site.
