Buyer Protection Fee on Refunds

Ebay is worse and worse for sellers by day. Removing seller fees and renaming it "buyer protection fees" does not help and is actually worse! all done in favour of buyers.

You no longer get credits for the "eBay fees" if you for example agree and do a partial refund for £10 the buyer will get closer to £11 - this is advice from multiple eBay agents by the way if you agree to £10 refund you need to refund £10 all from your own pocket whereas before you would get some of the fees back as credits, now the fees get returned to the buyer due to being called "buyer protection fee".

Re: Buyer Protection Fee on Refunds

Er, yes that makes common sense because you haven't paid any fees. The buyer has.
