What happened to the postage options?

Really eBay, do you have to mess about with a system that is working and turn it into a nightmare? This morning went to do some listing via my templates, and getting to the bottom of the page I realized that my postage options had vanished! Apparently I now have to set up new postage options for any possible scenario, each with a name and description. God help anyone who is new to eBay, as it took me nearly 2 hours to work this out! Now for some reason my managed payments and number of times I have selected a postage option are being counted and have a number next to them! What on Earth is the reasoning behind this?

Also, I have a very powerful desktop PC, and a fast broadband connection.....so why do I have to sit for several minutes while a `Preview` is generated for the listing?

If you go to site preferences here: Selling preferences (ebay.co.uk) and select Business Policies from the list on the left hand side, you should have the option to turn off Postage Policies, which will mean you can do postage as you always have.

It's probably preparation for Ebay's 'simple delivery' thing that's coming soon.

If anything is misusing the word simple, it's this 'innovation'.

Well I'm not a business but trying to list large letter items. Shows to apply recommendation but try to apply and get this "No postage service found based on your entry." Also the "change" postage button disappeared, any ideas anybody?

My postage options don't show up at all? Once I go to that page it sticks and the page doesn't load. Can't sell anything on eBay now because of this?

Where does it say option to turn off postage polices? Is it the opt out of all polices?

I am unable to access the policies opt out and cannot send medium parcels via ebay as a result

Using a PC / laptop sorry not sure if this is available on the app,  if the following is not available / visible by just trying to revise your item you may need to end the item and relist doing the following:

When creating the listing you can opt out of Simple Delivery by clicking on Custom Postage   ths is next to the Simple Delivery option on the listing on the right hand side,  and it should allow you to then select your postage options.

I cannot understand what ebay are up to, they seem to change their policies for something to do.

Under the old classic version everything used to work fine.

under the old system i listed a couple of countries i posted to and the other countries contacted me for costs or bought the item and they requested a postage amount which i sent and they paid, simple!! but not now.

I find ebay the most complicated company i have ever dealt with, they seem to make everything as difficult as possible in order to sell anything.

My searches have come back in US Dollars for almost a year now despite being a member of eBay UK for 28 years and never selling to or buying from the States

That option has disappeared on my page. I was using custom option but it’s gone!

Try using sell similar it was working earlier go into advanced setting

Don't know what's going on but I found a long winded way around it. I always upload photos from mobile even though I prefer to do listing on laptop....well I discovered when uploading photos that custom postage was available on mobile so I changed it there and save for later. Dada when I go back into draft on laptop it now appears!!! Not great and took longer but at least I got my listings done, I just wish they hadn't changed so many different parts of listings, don't know what it's like for businesses but it's a royal pain in the backside!!

Forgot to add this was with the easy simple listings lol, I don't like using advanced.

I am on seller hub, tablet, chrome, when you get to postage there is "switch to advanced  options" click on that. It will only let me send one screenshot at a time so others to follow!
