Bank detail verification

Hi all,

I've just started selling and I've got money i would like to withdraw...but I can't because ebay have been verifying my bank details for over a week. I've talked to customer service who just said to wait..but I have a few concerns:

1) I've only recieved one micro transaction not two

2) they couldn't give me ant idea as to when this process would finish, outside of stating up to a week. 

Has anyone else had a similar problem, and does anyone have a handy way of resolving it? All ideas very much appreciated 😊

Hi capnj_99, thanks for your question.

Normally, it takes up to 5 business days for micro deposits to hit your bank account, if it's been more than a week and you've only received 1 one of them, you'd need to contact us here, so we can take a further look for you.

In the meantime, I'd recommend checking your bank statements to make sure the 2nd one is not there somewhere else, that happened to me once on a different platform, the 2nd microdeposit was 2 weeks back, not sure really how banks sort these incomes sometimes. 😅

Thanks for the response. I have now had the second deposit, but I still have the same message and issue. The verification still seems to be continuing, now both deposits are done do you know how long it will be?

I believe I am well over a week now which is what it states in the message on my account.

If you got both deposits and you entered them in your eBay account, and the system accepted the micro deposits you entered, then the verification process should be completed shortly. If your account is still not verified after a day of entering the micro deposits, please feel free to contact customer service here, so they can take a further look for you.
