Anybody know what's happened to the set postage rates?

Until eBay changed it, you could choose your postal option and they would give a general price based on the package size and weight. That seems to have disappeared now, and it seems that you have to set your own postage rate.

I'm trying to list an item. It's giving me the postage options, but no postage rate to set. Are the rates still there, but have been moved somewhere else?

Much appreciated if anyone can help,

Mark

I am interested in this. As its happened to me.

My thought for me was this was a change due to myself just moving to the Seller Hub and the very first item after that which I decide to list I am presented with setting P&P values for picked postage services, rather than picking values.

Have you also moved to the Seller Hub.?

I might just revert back as its too complicated with Rates tables and that malarky for my use case.

That's a thought. I'll have to check to see if I've been moved to the hub. If I have, I didn't do it.

The price guides do seem to have been removed. Well, I can't find them. I found the prices here:

https://support-ebay.packlink.com/hc/en-gb/articles/209156905-eBay-Delivery-UK-shipping-rates

Then scroll down to your courier of choice. Thankfully, the prices for Yodel haven't changed, so that's one thing, but oddly, eBay don't seem to give rates for Royal Mail. I had to visit their site to find out their prices.  Having the postage prices displayed when you selected your postage options was more convenient.

Thank you! The disappearing postage costs have been driving me mad for weeks. I list one item and all postage costs  are there, 5 minutes later they're gone. Thanks again.

I switched to the seller hub and I now have the same problem. Switching back to the old interface has not brought the old shipping cost structure with pre-entered shipping cost back. I am really disappointed in ebay for doing something so silly! My boyfriend who has not gone to the seller hub, does not have this problem, so I reckon the Seller Hub is the issue. EBAY GET THIS SORTED!!!!

That's the solution.

The thing is, I didn't even opt into the seller hub; eBay opted me in automatically. This is why I thought that eBay had changed the layout as I'd never used the hub before. One thing I hate is when a site thinks it knows what's best. That could be my choice. Because of this, on two packages, I had to use a couple of more expensive (Royal Mail) postage options (I paid the difference), as at the time, the pricing of my standard Yodel service had 'disappeared'.

Yep, that was the problem and thanks to the posters who suggested it. eBay must switched me to the seller hub. I certainly didn't do it, as you have to physically opt in by clicking, which I never did. I've reverted back. The hub took a bit of getting used to, and it was useful, but if I list an item, I like to have the courier/prices options in front of me to make a choice; rather than me having to visit various courier sites, search for them and hope for the best.
