Annoying Unanswered Messges (1) notice. How do I remove it?

I have recently had an exchange of messages with a potential buyer. The final message to myself did not require a reply. I am now left with an Unanswered Messages (1) added to my Active items page. There was a time when I would have been able to mark this as No Reply Required but that option doesn't seem to be available. Does anyone know how to get rid of this?

In your messages there's a line of icons just above the list of messages.   Hover over the mark as read one and click on the pop-up you'll get.

This has always amused me. You have an interaction with a seller or buyer, which ultimately ends with a thank you. This is then flagged as an unanswered message, which you are constantly reminded of, lol.
