various items that may have value

My dad has recently gone into ahome and has given me a lot of he's old ornaments. i have a couple of items amongst them that I believe could be valuable,as they actually belonged to he's mum. I have gone to various sites to try and identify them until I am googly eyed, I have looked on line but all the sites for experts want to charge up front before a valuation. My dad does'nt have a lot of money so does'nt want to pay to be told that the items are worthless, any money obtained from a possible sale will of course go towards he's care.can I post pictures on here, if anyone has a clue or could help i would be greatful

Hi, Please post pictures with any marks on the back (backstamps) to help identifying the items and I will gladly help if I can as I'm sure other members will.
