simple delivery forced policy

as i am  quite new to ebay  a remember when i set the postal rates and choice couriers

i personaly feel there should an option to swich off simple delivery ,

if wish to do so  that is

as  so basic

ideal for   for some people , if you like it

and  i should be able to set the postal  rates

as packing bubble rap and box,s  tape

id feel this ebay having far to much control on my selling

due a real lack of choices  ;'

of couier / pack link was better and  more options

honesty  to be fair

its just the lack of control i have now over my selling /  when posting

raoyal mail are about the only one useable service

also Evri / used to be hermes

they were so bad had to change there name

no wonder really

Evri are the worst in the country

i like them  to changed to a better courier say ups parcel force yodel tnt

personaly  id have  Evri

'removed from the platfrom

ebay has rewarded them  for being so rubbish

i had lot item i bought

lots of who seller s sadley only  use this cheepest courier

as it buyers who pays  any way ,

in more ways then one i think

id rarther pay more for  a safer  and better couier   service

my Evri  mostly

have broken crushed  /damaged my item s

ring the bell drive off

left on the door step when out

driver

and marked as left in a safe

 place porch ect

sorry to say evri' sadly

are freinds of kermet the frog

and simple delivery

should be an option

you can opt out of /if you wish

simple delivery forced policy

You are new and have come very late to the party!

Simple Delivery became mandatory for Private sellers months ago now, and yes,  many ( everyone? ) initially disliked it,  and said there should be an opt in  opt out for SD.  There was for a time, but then it became mandatory , custom postage is only available for certain items in certain categories.

It does have its bonuses!  Use SD and if an item gets lost or damaged in transit , eBay refund the buyer,  and the seller gets to keep the payout for that item.   Some delicate glass /ceramic items come under a different category and may not be covered for damage.  There's specific packing rules for those.

If you do not like Evri you can deselect it in your Site Preferences >> Postage prefs,  or here:
