impossible delivery times.

this is driving me crazy, and for the first time in 13 years of selling on ebay my seller level would be below standard.

one example - item sold via second class large letter with a dispatch date of 07/10/25 at 11.59 BST.

Estimated delivery date shown to buyer: 6 Oct 2025 - 8 Oct 2025.

this is not possible, unfair, incorrect and makes it look like im not dispatching on time, leading to complaints from buyers..... it is now common knowledge in the UK that royal mail are delivering less often. why cant ebay acknowledge this??????

You are in good company, a lot of Sellers are experiencing the same. Most would need a time machine to meet eBay's displayed delivery window!

My Granny always used to say, "Do as I say, not as I do"!  eBay does the same!

When I was learning to sell on eBay I was always told to 'under-promise and over-supply' so you never have an unhappy customer.

Sadly the site over-promises delivery times cos it's not them that takes the flak - it's the seller.  Not a level playing field sadly.

This is happening all the time now I even tried changing the shipping settings and still showing i need that time machine to meet ebay estimated delivery , my account is also flagged as high item not received cases 

We are now coming up to the worst time of year for delayed royalmail post so no merry xmas for ebay sellers i fear .
