hi, can anyone help, i have items that i have sold and sent via royal mail 2nd class and have confirmation from the buyer that they're completed but are still showing as dispatched even though i've received the funds for them. is there anyway of marking them as completed manually? the buyers have even left feedback for the item to confirm they've received the item. or do i need to wait for Ebay to catch up? is it because i didn't allocate a tracking number?

If you used ebay's Simple Delivery postage label the tracking would have been added automatically. If you bought your own postage see if you can change the tracking number at View Order Details > Postage > Track Package > dropdown arrow. That has to be done on a desktop browser.
If you can't manage that don't worry about it. You have the payments and the buyers are happy. It's all good. 🙂

hey, thanks for responding! it was royal Mail 2nd class postage so it wasnt a tracked service but they do give them tracking numbers. just wondered what the point of including that was if they dont scan it to say its been delivered. i have confirmation of the customer receiving and they left positive feedback, just thought that might mark the 'dispatched' items as completed

As @**peaseblossom** says but you can upload the Reference Number as a tracking number. With normal RM 2nd Class services over 250g Large Letter or Parcels you automatically receive a RN on your Proof of Posting. It's true that us mere mortals cannot always see the scan for delivery with this, but eBay has access to RM internal tracking system, so it is worth uploading the RN as your tracking number anyway.
