Hi everyone, A quick question...
I sold an item today, customer paid and delivery was with simple delivery. Free to buyer so i paid for the label.. Ebay issued a royal mail label costing £5.55 which is ok so far... Now several messages later between me and the buyer i had to cancel the order because the buyer needed the item within two days and i could not guarantee with any service that he would get it in that time frame.. Order was cancelled and the buyer received his full refund but this has left me with a minus of £5.55 because they did not refund me the postage. I understand as a seller buying the label to cancel i have to fill in there cancelation form within 14 days of sale. I did this but the form dosent realy cater for canceled labels only dealing in other couriers and why did you use them instead of blah blah blah... On submitting the form it says it can take 30 days to process if all the criteria is met which is very vague. There was no confirmation message or email so i dont know what progress its making.
Is there anything else i can do apart from contacting customer services. How long do i wait for an update... If i leave it untill after the 14th day will i loose out.... I just dont know... There must be others that have been through this
