Yodel compensation

Does anyone know how I can claim compensation for the failed delivery using the full protection through ebay because Yodel are telling me it's the responsibility of the petrol station I dropped it off to! 

I started using Yodel as it was the cheapest option for tracked postage, but after an issue with my usual drop off point and the back up one not giving a receipt with the live tracking reference on, Ive had a £45 transaction go missing, I had even paid extra for full protection through Yodel!

Yodel are being as useful as a chocolate fireguard when trying to escalate this through their CEO complaints email address, and I've not had to refund the customer meaning I'm down £45 sale, plus I don't have the stock item to resell.

As an aside, I've now shifted to Evri and touch wood, no issues so far because Royal Fail are so damn expensive!

If you purchased the Yodel label through eBay, you can put a claim through Packlink, so that can be resolved for you. You can do this from here.

If you purchased the label from Yodel directly, they you'd need to make the claim through them directly. However, we are unable to control the outcome of any claims, hopefully this helps.

It's sad of course but some people find Evri very poor too.  I would never use anyone but Royal Mail.  They deliver potentially to every single house in the country on 6 days a week.

Some people find Evri to be poor??? You mean EVERYBODY. They are THE worst delivery company in the UK. Do some checking and you will find there is a specific reason eBay want to use them for SD!!

Thank you; my tongue was in my cheek - of course.  They do however provide me with a superb service when delivering boxes of beverages!

I've had a multitude of issues with Royal Fail, and I object to having to pay 20% more at least, for a similar service when they are just as bad for not delivering correctly, parcels going missing, signing for customers so you have no proof of receipt, my experiences go on and on! So far, I have had no issues with Evri. And I've always found them decent when delivering to me too.

I think this is the very first time I've ever seen anyone say that Evri provides a better service than Royal Mail.

By the way, which has a bigger nose, Pinocchio or a Toucan?

The answer is of course, Pinocchio, because a Toucan has a beak not a nose. 😅
