Anyone know why the Global Shipping Centre in Lichfield NEVER update their tracking to item received by them? This is especially relevant now due to the wonderful new payment rules. I've had items half way to the USA and confirmation of delivery to Lichfield by the carrier BUT still comes up as "not received". Did they send a box of fresh air?-after all, my item was "not received"!! This has happened for years-it's not new BUT if E-Bay insist on implementing these rules, they should ensure that their partners, ie. GSP, have WORKING systems in place. Is the system broken or is it laziness, incompetence or what?

The problems with the Lichfield GSP hub may be related to this:

So another sent yesterday special delivery it said it was recieved at 1.14am into Midlands mail centre then it said arrived at 2.34am to the midland mail centre but no more tracking then this afternoon it had an update of delivered and signed at 1.44am but because this time is before there last update it looks like it's been scanned and then unscanned even though tracking says delivered it doesn't show on ebays page as delivered it just says payment pending delivery. This is a joke I've removed ebay global shipping on all 40 of my items now until this is resolved. I'm losing the will to live going back and forth between royal mail and ebay

Yeah depends if you have offers or bids on them but i won't be using again until sorted which will lose me a lot of sales or just take longer but hopefully things resume to normal and they start paying us within 24hrs of payment from buyer

Like me, you'll probably see that despite incomplete RM tracking, the item did reach the hub even though there's no indication of that on eBay and also that it's been delivered to the buyer.
Seriously, how hard it is for eBay to not have proper integration with Pitney Bowes to display the info that I accessed? Of course, my funds have not been released. I'll be calling eBay in the morning who better release the money ASAP.
What a mess.

I’m having the same issue Evri have marked as delivered to GSL Lichfield tracking hasn’t updated on eBay to reflect this. Item number: 20-12692-18438

thank you to jjambadger. I have 3 items currently at global shipping, 2 marked delivered by royal mail, one was not (which isn't unusual, particularly to the GSP). All 3 have no onward updates showing on ebay but by tracking them directly I can currently see that all 3 have made it to the destination country. Therefore it seems ebay's integration with pitney bowes is currently broken and needs to be fixed. I would also suggest that once they have fixed the onward tracking they do also implement the payment upon confirmation that PB have processed the parcel, regardless of if initial courier has marked parcel as delivered or not.

Totally agree with this post, thank you for sharing. Given the stupid new payment rules I am now shipping all ebay international shipped items to Litchfield Tracked 24 via the Post Office (nothing to do with Everi) - to get my money quicker.
On EVERY occasion ebay is not updating as delivered (to Hub), when the item has clearly been delivered to the distribution hub. Can't help but feel this is another deliberate act by ebay to hang on to my money for longer, while I take all the risk and expense with no item, no payment and have to fork out for postage.

Totally agree with this post, ebay international shipping does not update in line with the delivering agent.
Given the stupid new payment rules I am now shipping everything Tracked 24 (Royal Mail) to Litchfield, to get my money quicker. The Post Office confirms delivery, but the status does not change on ebay? - ebay is not updating correctly. This is not an isolated case, it happens on EVERY shipment to ebays hub.
Can't help but feel this is another deliberate ploy from ebay to hold my money for longer. As private sellers we are taking all the risk and expense with every sale - no item, no money and paying out for postage.

I suspect this is more likely to be a Royal Mail problem than an eBay one. Perhaps the postie delivering multiple cages full of parcels to Litchfield every day takes one look and thinks "There's no way I'm scanning that lot"!

It's a shame that nobody brought this up on the community chat earlier today. eBay could at least publicly acknowledge there's an issue, and sort it out. Maybe we need to start a crowdfunded for them as clearly the extra money they're getting in interest by hanging on to our payments isn't enough for resolving things when they go wrong.
