UNABLE TO POST ITEMS VIA SIMPLE DELIVERY DUE TO TRACKING NUMBERS STARTING WITH LETTERS YA

Is Ebay correcting the postage problem or are the Post Office ?

At present I have 5 items wrapped with YA tracking numbers on and

the Post Office won't acce

i think its royal mail,i think they have to update the codes to make them work.but i am nit sure of this.hopefully they should scan tomorrow.

just been on via the chat service with an ebay rep. they say they are now aware of the problem and working on a fix. they said to purchase postage and they would refund the amount already paid. I pointed out that this was paid by the buyer so wouldnt help me. she then said the would refund me instead once i provided proof of the additional. just to satisfy myself i pointed out that the cost would likely be higher as paying direct. they've confirmed they would give full refund. I'm still waiting on a transcript of the chat so I've took photos of it. I'm gonna try the QR code again tomorrow and if it fails again I'll then purchase and claim the refund.

Same here, I had two yesterday RM 48hr tracked - post office would not accept them has the tracking is not recognized. I have also tried to cancel the labels through Ebay but they wont allow it has they do not recognize the tracking number I have lost 7.98 so far.

My numbers also started with YA when they should be TA.

i have just been chatting to an agent online they dont know when labels will work,i am going to purchase my own labels,claim a refund.easist way.get the postman to collect.too much hassle.

Will you buy it on the Royal Mail website? And will we be able to add the tracking number easily?

So are those labels useless now? Will I have to get another one or will they be accepted once the issue is resolved? I don't know what to do

At least we are now going to be compensated for this complete and utter *bleep*-up. At £40.00 a throw I wonder how many sellers they have left they are going to need to keep quiet?

I now have 15 items to post and have been completely unable to get hold of anyone at eBay even after waiting an hour!

I thought eBay would have contacted sellers to explain what was going on but nothing from them whatsoever.

hi  i was told by an agent the labels are ok.its royal mail who has not updated their label system.hopefully should be sorted by tomorrow,monday.if you click on help and contact from the ebay main page then scroll down there is a message on there.hope this helps.

It's a shame that eBay haven't reached out with an official update - They can see that we all have orders to post!
