Hello,
I sold an item and tracking shows it has been delivered but the buyer says the Royal Mail picture shows a house which isn't theirs! Am I correct that it is up to them to take it up with Royal Mail as I have done everything required from my end? It's a shame as I don't like to think of anyone not getting what they've paid for.

The best way forward as it was a Royal Mail delivery is for the buyer to ask their postie where they left the item, seems like they may have left it with a neighbour? Worth asking around a few houses too.
Bottom line you have tracking to show delivery so you will not have to refund.

If you think they could be pulling a fast one, Google street view their house and see if it matches the Royal Mail photo
or try match the rm photo to any houses nearby
(if you’ve nothing better to do, I would )
surely if RM delivered it to someone else’s house they’d leave a card???or don’t they do that anymore
