Tracked delivery

How do you charge a buyer for tracked delivery? There are no options to do this in 'Simple Delivery' and I can no longer select any advanced options.

You're supposed to use whatever postage is on offer through ebay/Simple Delivery.    With SD if the item is lost or damaged in transit as long as the buyer opens the correct case ebay will issue the refund themselves and the seller keeps the payment.

All postage with simple delivery labels is  tracked

Thanks for this but it also means there is no way to charge for packing. I buy boxes specially to make sure things arrive in tact. I guess the only thing to do is raise the price but this doesn't seem transparent.

It’s the new system , they think packaging should be borne by the seller or raise prices to include it

if you’re able to , get hold of boxes from various large shops and supermarkets Recycling trolleys

 If they’re not the right size or shape it’s easy to adjust them , long as the cardboard is stiff  type 

for filling the gaps I raid neighbours paper bins for newspapers and other magazines
