To Sellers who have used Yodel the past week

Has anyone else been affected by Yodel’s ongoing issues? Since last week, they’ve been experiencing major delays but at no point did they make sellers aware they were switching over companies. Because of this, I’ve had endless cases opened against my business every single day.

Parcels sent out last week are still stuck in transit, and with eBay’s timeframes for cases, I feel completely stuck. I’m having to now consider issuing constant refunds to keep my account safe, even though the problem lies entirely with Yodel.

To make matters worse, Packlink have told me I must wait 30 days after raising a complaint for any investigation to be completed. That leaves sellers like me with no protection and huge losses in the meantime.

I feel completely let down, both by Yodel’s lack of communication and the lack of immediate support for sellers dealing with the fallout.

What is everyone else doing?

Same. I called eBay twice regarding the issue of having several off my Yodel packages go 'missing' within the system.

The first time was an overseas agent where the line was so fuzzy and her knowledge so limited that I said goodbye and terminated the call. The second time I got through to Ireland and whilst he was very friendly and chatty I was told 'I'd never use Yodel in a million years, avoid them in future as I hear nothing but problems about them every week for years now'.

eBay should have warned us of the disruption instead of leaving us to apologise to angry buyers. I received no practical help at all, only some warm words that added up to nothing.

Same here, spoken to Yodel multiple times with no clear way of moving forward, just being told to wait or prove it was sent (I can't keep the 100s of receipts the store give me), but the proof is right there on tracking! It shows that it was sent to the store but now it shows either as "Parcel was unavailable to collect" or there's just no movement whatsoever! I put in loss complaints and then was told I have to wait 30 days even though refunds have to be given ASAP. But for some, it's back and forth that I have to prove it was sent, they're claiming the "label doesn't exist", THEN HOW DID IT GET ACCEPTED AT THE STORE?!

I spoke to someone at ebay today, they did confirm that ebay are now aware of this but I just wish there was an announcement put out to avoid all of this, I've only just started using EVRI yesterday so that's still a weeks worth of parcels I'm still waiting to get complaints for! Nightmare
