Simplifed Delivery

I am presuming Simplified Delivery is the way forward to ensure we get our funds more promptly and that we are protected if the parcel goes missing. For this reason, I am redoing all my active listings using Simplified Delivery.

Can anybody else confirm if you can get it to work for

Health & Beauty Skin Care Moisturisers

or

Health & Beauty Skin Care Exfoliators & Scrubs

Simple Delivery ' works' for all items that are eligible for SD.

Ok, thanks. Presumably, an item is ineligible if simplified delivery isn't available in the category you're trying to list it in.

These are some of the ineligible items for Simple Delivery on eBay UK include clinically and medically hazardous items, flammable materials, explosives, illegal items, and items that are too large or heavy for Simple Delivery.

 Additionally, items with high value, or those listed as "Authenticity Guaranteed" or "bulky", are not eligible.

Yeah, I wouldn't class moisturisers & exfoliators as hazardous items, but I guess I will just have to differ.

I wonder if there is a bug in the system that they haven't fixed yet.

They do need to be Brand New items unused,  and here's eBay's take on selling moisturisers...

Moisturizers can generally be sold on eBay UK under Simple Delivery, as long as they meet the size and price requirements. Simple Delivery is a managed shipping program where eBay provides a prepaid label for domestic UK deliveries, and it's designed for smaller, less expensive items, according to eBay.

  Moisturizers, especially those in smaller containers, are likely to fall within the size limitations for Simple Delivery. 

   

  Are you wishing to sell these in any great quantity?  Brand new items need to be listed on a Business Account,  this may be the issue ?

Yes, I am saying they are being excluded from Simple Delivery.

The items I am listing are brand new. They are items that have been gifted to us as a family, but we will never use, hence the reason for selling.

I am a private seller, not a business seller. I only sell items that either I or my family members don’t have use for. Some items are new (i.e., unwanted gifts); other items are second-hand/vintage that we no longer have use for. I have been selling on eBay for over 20 years, but with this being a new way to ship items, I am confused.
