Simple delivery

Hi 

This weekend I've had 2 issues with eBay Simple delivery.

1st one eBay issued a QR code for a large letter Royal mail when I needed a medium parcel.

Do not know how to sort that one out yet?

2nd item the buyer clicked on collect and still got charged postage and I received another QR code for something that's being collected.

Both of these buyers assume that I'm receiving the postage payment and it's my mistake and should refund or pay for the parcel to be sent.

Anyone else having similar issues or anything else I can do to sort it out apart from stopping using the not so Simple Delivery.

With regards to the incorrectly sized one provided you used eBay's recommended size when listing then the Post Office is supposed to accept it regardless of the size discrepancy and eBay will take responsibility for it.

As for the one being collected I don't know why you have received a label but if it isn't used then the buyer will automatically receive a refund from eBay in around 14 days time.

The item was an electronic universal USB adapter in it's original packaging
and obviously is not a large letter.
How do I either get the QR code changed or cancel the order so I can relist
the item with the correct postage rate.

You can't change the QR code at present but as stated provided you used the size recommended by eBay when listing then it will be accepted and eBay will take the hit.

If you wish to cancel and relist then you will need to obtain the buyer's permission first so that you can cancel using the reason 'Buyer wishes to cancel' and thus avoid a defect.

This happened to me today & I wrote out a label by hand and paid £4.05 to send it small parcels tracked.

It was four glasses which was obviously not a large letter How do I get my money back?

I managed to get the buyer to cancel the order and after relisting the item
with the correct postage.
Now you have posted it yourself I'm not sure of what other options you have.
Sorry I couldn't be any other help.

The refund for the unused label will go back to the buyer so the only way you will be refunded is if the buyer is prepared to reimburse you for the postage you bought.  If they are then that will need to be done outside of eBay.
