Simple delivery a joke, no large parcel soze option

Really frustrated with ebay, they clearly have no clue, last 2 days they've moved everything over to simple delivery with no custom postage for larger items, over 61cm x 45cm x 45cm, there is no simple delivery for a larger sized parcel, evri accept larger ones anyway so ebay should have put the options separately, there is no way round it, I've tried everything

EBay need to tell you what to do to list under custom postage 

this is available for larger items 

but the option isn’t available to many people when listing which is a bit stupid 

try the chatbot in help

just keep typing “agent” whenever it asks you anything and it will eventually click you want to speak to a human 

alternatively ask for a call back from eBay 

It’s somewhere in the help pages , towards the end of articles 

I think you need to click no this info wasn’t helpful or something for the option to come up

Thank you, I will try, it's a ridiculous mess now ebay is constantly changing every day, if they want to do simple postage at least work it like Vinted do, they are hassle free

Out of curiosity what kind of item are you trying to list or revise the postage on

ebay override your postage even if theirs is iNCORRECT 

if they get the estimated weight wrong then it’s their problem they foot the bill

But with size there’s a maximum ie medium parcel for simple delivery  

obviously they seem to have mystic vision on the size of your item

You are not wrong there. Things appear to go in the favour of the seller if you offer free postage, but in the favour of the buyer if you don't. Their 'intelligent' bot added 8 x 1kg jigsaw puzzles that one of my buyers purchased. It came to 10kg which was ok but it didn't have the sense to up the size of the parcel. It still thought I could get 8 x 1000 piece puzzles into a RM Small Parcel size.

Thanks for the replies guys, I managed to sort it in the end but the buyer had to pay more with parcelforce, the parcel size was 60cm x 50cm x 50cm which evri would have taken but no option other than the stupid simple delivery smaller size for evri and royal mail.    I saw all this coming a year back as vinted have taken the market but ebay have got it all wrong trying to do similar,  ebay should have never kept changing on a daily basis (which is what it has felt like)   And now they trying to make more money from sellers and buyers now with this promoted listing *bleep* and buyer protection.   Trying to make money they've lost on all the members they've lost to vinted.   It's a mess, sometimes some things are best left alone
