Simple Delivery displayed postage rates are crazy!

I know there's already a million posts, but I'm throwing the million-and-oneth into the pool.

The forced pricing of simple delivery postage is crazy. My account was forced over to SD yesterday and I usually use RM tracked 48 as that carries the best price, insurance and speed combination. I tend to put the postage charges on my listings between 0 and 50% of the actual postage costs (usually sitting around £1 and some pence) to keep both parties in the sale happy. This new change has thrown my postage costs on listings to a minimum of £3.38!

Not being able to choose our own postage is silly. Only last month I shipped something that RM and Evri explicitly refuse to ship, DHL was more than happy as long as the package was marked correctly. I've heard the song and dance to ship something using a different courier is to select 'buyer pays', then not use the label, and finally fill out a form for a refund on the eBay supplied postage label.

Why on earth cant we have the custom option back... If this doesn't get reversed, then I truely hope that some serious competition pops up offering what we used to have.

In the song, you need to select Seller pays not Buyer.

Are yes, Tumbleweed Central.  One of the few businesses that refuses to advertise itself and that so few people have heard of that if you mention it to them they point out that it's actually called e-BAY.

I've just searched there for "mantel clock" and got thirty-eight matches, a lot of which were for stamps that have pictures of clocks on them and the rest were low quality modern ones, new or second-hand.  The same search term finds 27,000+ on e-Bay. "Cuckoo clock" returns nine matches, NONE of which are actually cuckoo clocks or anything to do with them compared to 7,500+ here.

Maybe it's popular with Buyers and Sellers of certain things but I've never found anything I've wished to buy there.
