My item: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/177146651250
item number: 177146651250
After being boxed up is just over 3kg.
The useless Simple Delivery label is up to 2kg and will charge the buyer £3.71
If I refund the stupid simple delivery label, it refunds the buyer, not me.
So either way, I will pay more than double for the delivery, what the F do I do ?
Does ebay realise that people don't fukn pack items before listing them in case it doesnt sell for weeks ?
Once packed it is heavier and might no longer suit the label, which is why paying for a label in advanced is *bleep*ing *bleep*.
What do I do now ?

Provided the item is still within the maximum weight and dimensions for the carrier then you can still use the supplied label and it will be accepted at no additional cost to you or your buyer:
'If you use the recommended parcel size and your item exceeds the maximum size and weight of the label, you won’t be charged any additional costs. Just go ahead and use the Simple Delivery postage label. The courier will accept your package providing it remains within the maximum weight and dimensions for the service.'

No they do not, not at my local post office. The label has to be correct for the parcel. Back to square one. What do I do now?

Your PO clearly hasn't got the memo about accepting these parcels.
You could ask ebay what to do next.

Sorry sml192, that was a stupid answer. They already stated the package IS heavier. You don't need to quote the unhelpful ebay script.
My suggestion ...
I have the same issue and have contacted the buyer and apologise asking if they want me to cancel and i relist at the correct postage for it's weight
or
Ship less of the items (only works on multiple identical items) and issue a partial £3 refund (or stick £3 inside the parcel).
This is where the new system falls down. Previously i would suck it up and pay the extra postage over the counter.

Now who is coming up with a stupid answer. smill92 was correct. Your suggestion makes little sense.

Just pointing out that they totally failed to provide any help to the original post. Just quoted an unhelpful script. At least i provided a suggestion, albeit not one which you agree with for reasons you have failed to mention.
Please feel free to provide the original post with a better answer.
