Royal Mail tracking not updating on ebay

I've noticed that all of a sudden none of my royal mail tracking numbers are updating on ebay and wondered if anyone else is having the same problem?? On Royal Mail they show as dropped off at the post office, etc but on ebay they've not even updated to say posted to buyer! Terrible timing now that i won't get my money until 2 days after the items show as delivered......which won't happen if the link between royal mail and ebay is broken.

I have just checked one I posted Royal Mail 48 on Monday and it seems to be working okay so hopefully yours will update.

If it persists the best is to contact ebay rep and explain what happened. I try to contact ebay as soon as I notice any glitch that could end up with my payment delayed or affect my standard ratings as a seller. I don't want to worry. If the same problem happens to more people their technical team is informed and ebay tries to resolve that glitch.

I called an agent earlier  just

before going on the community forum (should have done the reverse), the agent said they have never heard of an issue between Royal Mail / EBay which is one thing that shows no one is looking. Anyway, the agent has put in a ticket. 
I have purchased postage from eBay to make things simple (Royal Mail second) and now cannot get any funds because none of the items show as delivered (I even got a positive feedback on one of them). This is following the new policy which clearly hasn’t been thought about before implementation.

By default the funds will unblock in a month - what do they do with the (my) locked funds in the meantime? 
So now I will have to wait 1 month from date of purchase to receive funds!!! I have been with eBay 18 years… this is my last sell and moving to vinted or whatever other selling platform.

It's so frustrating!! Mine eventually showed some tracking events on the day of delivery so I was hoping the problem had been resolved, but reading your message it seems that was wishful thinking. Mine were also postage purchased through ebay. I'm going to revert to buying direct from royal mail, see if that makes any difference and if not will likely also look at the likes of vinted as don't want to be checking for this with every order I get

Hi. I also have the sane issue. Posted royal mail tracked. All delivered and positive feedback received. Ebay only showing as dispatched.  Customer serves say I need to contact royal mail. But I don't agree as the items have been delivered and their tracking confirms this. Ebay still have my money on hold and I don't know how to get it off them.  I've never had this issue before. Only started when they changed the held payments until after delivery.  Anyone know how to sort this?

Yes the answer is upgrade to a business account you are one anyway so need to change to not only lose the BPF and delayed payments but to comply with consumer law.

You sell allot of food products so business is only way to go.

Do you have a contact for ebay? 
I got in touch with the buyer to apologise for the delay and even filed a claim with Royal Mail for a lost item since there has veen no update since the 11th Feb. Now my buyer just replied to say they've received the item but tracking has not been updated and I won't get paid..
The customer service tab is useless and just sends me round in circles without any contact info for an actual person to help me solve the problem.

I called this number +443453553229. Think its on their contact us page.  I tried their email first and got no help at all but the phone number girl was great.  I also marked the item as not sent and reinput the tracking on the sold items and they all updated to delivered during the day. Sent from my Galaxy

I'm having the exact  same issue. Someone posted in the community the Pitney Bowes tracking for GSP, and that shows as delivered. The Royal Mail tracking is not registering at Lichfield, so no funds. An advisor told me this morning the funds will become available 14 days after payment automatically. That's in 2 days. Let's see. He also said there was a problem with the tracking singing with Ebay system. It seems an issue with Hermes too, so I guess it is will all ebay tracking. It's very convenient just after changing the payout rules- lots of nice interest in somebody's pocket!

I had a call with Ebay earlier and they also said my funds would be available by Sunday, so fingers crossed. I hope they can sort out their tracking, It's quite stressful to fear we won't get paid because of a fault in their system!

In my experience the eBay display of tracked progress is useless. Accuracy varies wildly on a day-to-day basis. Unless it shows as delivered in eBay, I always follow the link through to the Royal Mail system - which just often shows that the postman hasn't bothered to get a signature.

If you send TRACKED 48 with RM, you will never get a signature but you should (usually) get a photo of the delivery.

Yes it is. Hopefully if enough people report the issue, there might be some action. Let's hope at least to get paid after 2 weeks of them holding our funds!

I've put in a claim for one item to Royal Mail. If it is an issue with them not scanning at delivery point, hopefully that will get looked into. If it's purely the Ebay system not syncing with any carrier, I hope Royal Mail and others will be having words with ebay, as they wont want to be forking out for lost item claims.

Tracked should always be scanned as point od delivery. It was very reliable until the past 2 weeks when the payout regime changed.

Hi I have a isue with 2 items I sold it shows not delivered  but contacting the buyers they say they have received the iteme very quick so what is going on it still shows not deliverd
